FAIR SQUARED Hairbands

These hair bands tame any mane and add vibrant accents to hair. They are made from vintage saris, which are thus given a new, colourful life as hair accessories. This fact alone spreads joy, even if these saris have not been allowed to fulfil their original function for a long time!

Since the hair bands are upcycled products, each one is unique. Thanks to the variety of colours in the different saris, we offer the hairbands as a surprise product, so you cannot make a colour choice in advance.

These hairbands are made in the sewing workshop of our WFTO-certified partner Rice & Carry in Sri Lanka. Rice & Carry trains women from rural areas of Sri Lanka to earn their own fair income. The company has an ecological focus on the sustainable use of resources, especially the upcycling of existing materials.
